Hey everyone! Did you know that many students from around the world study in the United States? In fact, about one-quarter of all international students there come from China! π¨π³βοΈπΊπΈ
Recently, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Mao Ning, asked the U.S. to make sure Chinese students are treated fairly. This was because a politician in the U.S. sent letters to six universities, asking for information about their Chinese students, saying it’s for “national security” reasons.
Mao Ning said it’s important for the U.S. to stop seeing everything as a security threat. She hopes the U.S. will protect the rights of Chinese students and not put unfair rules on them.
Learning together helps students from different countries understand each other and become friends. It also helps both countries grow in science, technology, and the economy! ππ€π‘
It’s important that all students feel welcome and are treated fairly, no matter where they’re from. Let’s support each other and learn together! πβ€οΈ
