The Guangsha Lions had an amazing game on Monday! They beat the Shanghai Sharks 114-101 in Hangzhou, in east China’s Zhejiang Province. This win is extra special because it’s their 35th win this season, which is a new team record! ๐ŸŽ‰

Star Players Shine Bright โญ

Barry Brown was on fire! He scored a whopping 49 points for the Lions, making 17 out of 29 shots. That’s a lot of baskets! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”ฅ He was the top scorer of the game and helped his team roar to victory.

For the Shanghai Sharks, Kenneth Lofton also played really well. He scored 33 points, grabbed 23 rebounds (that’s when you catch the ball after a missed shot), and made nine assists (that’s when you help a teammate score). Great effort, Kenneth! ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ‘

A Tight Start ๐Ÿค

The game started off close. At the end of the first quarter, the score was tied at 23-23. But then James Nunnally scored a three-pointer (that’s a shot made from long distance worth three points), putting the Lions ahead. By the end of the first quarter, the Lions were leading 34-26.

Battle Continues ๐Ÿ€

In the second quarter, Kenneth Lofton kept pushing for the Sharks, helping his teammate Li Tianrong score some three-pointers. But Barry Brown kept scoring for the Lions, and by halftime, the Lions were ahead 66-56.

Sharks Fight Back! ๐Ÿฆˆ

The Sharks didn’t give up! In the third quarter, Yan Pengfei made three shots in a row for the Sharks. They got closer, and at one point, the score was 88-84. But the Lions stayed strong and kept their lead.

Sealing the Victory ๐ŸŽฏ

In the final quarter, the Sharks tried to catch up. They got as close as 95-93! But then, Kenneth Lofton got his fifth foul, which meant he had to be very careful not to get another one and be out of the game. The Lions took advantage, and Barry Brown, along with Hu Jinqiu, scored the last 15 points for the Lions. They won the game 114-101!
