Guess what? China’s new giant cargo drone called the TP1000 just took its first flight! ππ
This amazing drone can carry up to 1,000 kilograms (that’s like carrying a small car!) and fly up to 1,000 kilometers when fully loaded. Isn’t that incredible?
The TP1000 was developed in Qingdao City, in east China’s Shandong Province. It’s special because it’s the country’s first large unmanned (which means no pilot on board) transport aircraft that can also drop cargo from the sky! βοΈπ¦
Compared to its older brother, the TP500, the TP1000 can carry more stuff and fly farther. Together, these drones will help deliver goods quickly, especially to places that are hard to reach.
Not only that, but the TP1000 can also help in emergencies, like natural disasters, by dropping supplies where people need them most. π
Jin Ge, the leader of the team that built the TP1000, said, “The flight lasted 26 minutes, and everything went great! The drone was stable and performed just as we hoped.”
They expect the TP1000 to be ready for work by 2026. This could change the way we transport things and help people in need!
What do you think about this awesome new drone? Would you like to see drones delivering packages to your doorstep? ππ
