Hey future astronauts and scientists! π
Guess what? China is planning an awesome mission to Mars, called Tianwen-3, and they’ve invited the whole world to join in! π
The China National Space Administration (CNSA) announced that they’re looking for amazing ideas from scientists everywhere. They’re accepting proposals for cool projects that can be part of the mission until the end of June. Final selections will be made by October. π
So, what’s Tianwen-3 all about? It’s a super exciting mission set to launch around 2028. The goal is to explore Mars and look for signs of life! π½ They’re also planning to study the Red Planet’s rocks, atmosphere, and maybe even bring some samples back to Earth by 2030! π
CNSA wants projects that are super innovative and can help answer big questions about Mars. If the projects are selected, they’ll get a free ride on the mission! But the teams need to build their own equipment and agree to share the data they find. It’s like a giant space team-up! π€
China is also encouraging teams to work together with scientists from the Chinese mainland. It’s all about making new friends and exploring space together! π
Isn’t it awesome to think that scientists from around the world can work together to explore Mars? Maybe one day, that could be you! Keep dreaming big! π
