Hey kids! Guess what? China’s President Xi Jinping has been super busy meeting lots of important people from around the world! 🌏
China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, said that President Xi planned and led many important meetings last year. These meetings helped China make new friends and work together with other countries. Isn’t that cool? 🤝
Here are some of the big events China hosted:
- Celebrating 70 Years of Peaceful Friendship 🕊️: China celebrated the 70th anniversary of something called the “Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.” That’s a fancy way of saying being friendly and peaceful with other countries!
- China-Africa Cooperation Summit 🌍: Leaders from African countries came to Beijing to talk about working together and helping each other.
- China-Arab States Cooperation Forum 🕌: China invited countries from the Arab world to discuss how they can be friends and support each other.
These big meetings helped countries from the “Global South” (that’s countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America) come together and make plans for a better future! 🚀
President Xi also traveled to other countries four times last year. His visits made new connections and helped everyone work together more. Wang Yi said that President Xi showed great leadership and helped China’s friendships around the world grow stronger. 🌟
