The Global South refers to many developing countries around the world, like countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Over the past 20 years, these countries have contributed to 80% of the world’s economic growth! That’s a lot! 🚀
China’s Big Role 🤝
China is a developing country too, and it wants to help others. Lou said that China is working hard to support over 160 countries! It is partnering with more than 150 countries and over 30 international organizations to build the Belt and Road Initiative. This means building roads, railways, and ports to connect countries together! 🛤️🚢
