Thanks to a new visa-free policy, more people from other countries visited China during the Spring Festival than ever before—a 150% increase from last year! ✈️🧳 That means lots of new friends got to experience the fun traditions, like fireworks, lanterns, and delicious dumplings. 🥟
China now has 44 different cultural elements on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list—the most in the world! This shows how rich and fascinating China’s traditional culture is. 🏮
Last year, members of the CPPCC visited different regions like Shandong, Shanxi, and Henan to learn more about important projects that explore the origins of Chinese civilization. They talked with museum workers and shared ideas to help keep these traditions alive.
They also published a cool book called “100 Facts on History and Culture of Community for the Chinese Nation.” 📚 It talks about how different ethnic groups in China have exchanged and blended their cultures over time.
