Hey basketball fans! 🏀 The 2025 CBA All-Star Rookie Challenge was super exciting! Young players from all over showed off their amazing skills in two thrilling games.
Game 1: Freshmen Team vs. Tsinghua University
In the first game, the CBA Freshmen Team played against Tsinghua University. It was a close match, but the Freshmen Team won with a score of 83-74! 🎉
The star of the game was 20-year-old guard Yu Miti Saidake from the Guangzhou Loong Lions. He scored 20 points and was named the MVP (Most Valuable Player)! 🏆
Yu Miti said, “This victory means redemption—we suffered a heavy loss against Tsinghua in our youth team days. The MVP trophy fuels my drive to keep evolving.”
Game 2: Team CUBAL vs. CBA Sophomore Team
In the second game, Team CUBAL (that’s the Chinese University Basketball League) played against the CBA Sophomore Team. Guess what? Team CUBAL won 88-78! 🎊 What an upset!
Guan Ziyu from Peking University was the MVP of this game, scoring 19 points. He shared, “Since childhood, my goal has been to reach a higher stage of basketball, and I’ve been working step by step towards it. Today’s victory came because we were all driven by a strong determination.”
These young athletes are truly inspiring! 🌟 Who knows? Maybe someday you’ll be on that court too!
