The Shanghai Sharks have just won their fourth game in a row! They beat the Shanxi Loongs with a score of 100-93 in an exciting Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) game on Wednesday in Shanghai.
Star Players Shine ✨
Five players from the Sharks scored more than 10 points! Li Tianrong and Wang Zhelin both scored 18 points. Li was amazing, making four out of seven three-point shots! 🎯
Wang Zhelin had a double-double, which means he had double digits in two categories: points and rebounds. He scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds! Isn’t that cool? 😎
An Intense Game 🏁
The game was really close at first. The Sharks led 29-26 after the first quarter. The Loongs fought back, and by halftime, they were ahead by just one point, 53-52.
In the third quarter, Wang Zhelin was on fire! He made six out of seven shots, including a rare three-pointer. The Sharks pulled ahead, leading 81-74.
A Bit of Drama 😮
Early in the fourth quarter, something unexpected happened. Wang Zhelin got hurt when a player from the Loongs accidentally fell on his knees. Ouch! He had to leave the game and didn’t come back.
But don’t worry! Li Tianrong and Li Hongquan stepped up and kept scoring big shots from long distance. The Sharks increased their lead to 97-82!
Celebrating the Victory 🎉
Even though the Loongs tried their best, they couldn’t catch up. The Sharks held on to win, making it their twentieth win out of the last 22 games! They have also won 12 home games in a row. Way to go, Sharks! 🦈
