Lights, Camera, Xi’an! π¬
Hey there, movie fans! Imagine exploring a new country through the magic of films. That’s exactly what a group of international students did in Xi’an, China! π
On February 27, a special event called “China Travel With Chinese Films @Xi’an” brought together about 30 young people from around the world, including a visiting group of French students and international students studying in Xi’an.
Exploring Movie Magic π₯
The adventure started at Xiying Group’s film park, where they saw an awesome exhibition of Chinese and foreign movie posters. They learned about China’s first international film award and even the famous French Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) Award! π
They watched exciting trailers for upcoming movies like “Ne Zha 2“, “Detective Chinatown 1900“, and “Creation of the Gods 2“. Guess what? They met an actress dressed as Shiji Niangniang (Lady Rocky) from “Ne Zha 2“! How cool is that? π€©
Behind the Scenes Fun π¬
The group toured the film museum, checked out special effects studios, and enjoyed fun entertainment facilities. They shared their thoughts about Chinese movies and how films can bring people together. ποΈ
Cultural Adventures π―
Next, they visited “The Longest Day in Chang’an Theme Block“, which is like stepping back in time to the Tang Dynasty (that’s over a thousand years ago!). They enjoyed performances, tried making traditional crafts like sugar paintings (yummy!) and lacquer fans, and watched a fabulous hanfu show, showcasing ancient Chinese clothing. π
The students chatted about their first impressions of China, sharing fun stories about living and studying there. They discovered that learning about a culture through its movies and traditions makes the experience unforgettable! β€οΈ
A New Way to Travel π
“China Travel With Chinese Films @Xi’an” is the first tour of its kind, using movies to help visitors explore Chinese culture. Through films, food, and fun activities, these international students had an adventure they’ll never forget! ππ
Would you like to explore a new place through movies and culture? Maybe one day, you’ll have your own exciting journey! βοΈ
