Hey there, sports fans! Do you like flying through the air and doing amazing tricks? That’s what freestyle skiers do, and China just showed the world how it’s done!

On Monday, at the Beidahu Ski Resort in northeast China’s Jilin Province, China won the mixed team aerials event at the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup! ๐Ÿ†

What’s aerials, you ask? It’s a super cool skiing event where athletes speed down a ramp and launch into the air to perform flips and twists before landing on the snow. It’s like doing gymnastics in the air with skis on!

Team China 1 was made up of Olympic gold medalists Xu Mengtao and Qi Guangpu, along with Li Tianma. They scored an amazing 345.26 points, the highest of the competition! ๐ŸŽ‰

The USA’s Team 1 came in second with 317.05 points, and China’s Team 2, featuring Chen Meiting, Wang Xindi, and Li Xinpeng, took third place with 316.72 points. Great job, teams! ๐Ÿ‘

Qi Guangpu said, “The weather today is better than yesterday, and all my teammates performed well, so I was very confident when I went out for the last run.”

He performed a spectacular jump called a “back double full-full-full,” which is a super complex trick with lots of flips and spins! He scored 123.53 points for that jump alone! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Li Tianma nailed a “back full-double-full-full” for 122.57 points, and Xu Mengtao, who also won the women’s aerials event earlier, added 99.16 points to the team’s score.

Overall, Chinese athletes have won three gold medals, two silvers, and one bronze at the World Cup in Beidahu. Way to go, Team China! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿฅ‡

Isn’t it exciting to see athletes perform such incredible feats? Maybe one day you’ll try skiing or snowboarding and soar through the air too! Keep dreaming big! ๐ŸŒŸ
