China and South Africa Team Up to Make the World a Better Place!
Hey friends! Did you know that China and South Africa are working together to help our world? 🌍 On Friday, China’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Wang Yi, met with South Africa’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Ronald Lamola, at a big meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This meeting was part of something called the G20, where leaders from 20 important countries come together to talk about how to solve global problems. This year’s theme was “Solidarity, Equality, and Sustainability,” which means they want everyone to work together, be fair, and take care of our planet.
Mr. Wang Yi congratulated South Africa for doing a great job hosting the meeting. He said it’s important for countries like China and South Africa to share their ideas and make sure that everyone’s voice is heard, especially countries from the Global South. The Global South includes many countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America that are growing and developing.
Both China and South Africa want to help each other by building new things like roads and schools, improving energy sources, and creating jobs in new industries. They believe that by working together, they can make life better for people in their countries and around the world.
Mr. Lamola thanked China for its support and said he’s excited about all the good things they can do together. He hopes that China will invest more in South Africa to help them grow even more.
