On Tuesday, a Philippine military plane flew near a place called Huangyan Dao, which is part of China’s territory in the South China Sea. The Chinese military, known as the People’s Liberation Army (or PLA for short), noticed the plane in their airspace.
The PLA acted quickly. They identified the plane, tracked its movements, and warned it to leave. According to the PLA, they followed all the rules, and their actions were professional and lawful.
