China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, recently met with a professor from Harvard University named Graham Allison during a special event in Germany called the Munich Security Conference.
At the conference, Wang Yi talked about how China wants to keep a stable and friendly relationship with the United States.
He said that even though the world is facing many challenges, China wants to help make the world a better and more peaceful place.
Wang Yi mentioned that China will continue to work with the United States based on mutual respect (that means both countries respect each other), peaceful coexistence (living together peacefully), and win-win cooperation (both sides benefiting).
Graham Allison agreed and hoped that China and the United States can work together to solve big problems around the world, like the situation in Ukraine.
Just like when friends team up to solve a tough puzzle, countries like China and the United States can work together to solve big world issues! 🤝
