On Monday, they dominated the speed skating events. In the men’s 500 meters, Gao Tingyu zoomed to victory in just 34.95 seconds! 🏃♂️💨 He beat Japan’s Wataru Morishige by a tiny 0.02 seconds. That’s like blinking your eyes! 😲 South Korea’s Kim Jun-ho came third with 35.03 seconds.
In the women’s 3,000 meters speed skating, China took all the medals! 🥇🥈🥉 Yang Binyu grabbed gold with a time of 4:08.54. Han Mei got silver, and Tai Zhien earned bronze.
The Chinese men’s team sprint was also a triumph! Gao Tingyu, Lian Ziwen, and Ning Zhongyan finished first in 1:19.22. 🏆 South Korea and Japan followed behind.
