China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi Travels the World! 🌍
Hey there! Do you know who Wang Yi is? He’s China’s Foreign Minister (that’s like the person in charge of China’s relationships with other countries). And guess what? He’s going on a big trip around the world to talk about important things! 😀
First stop: The United Kingdom! 🇬🇧 Wang Yi will meet with David Lammy, the UK Foreign Secretary. They’ll co-chair the 10th China-UK Strategic Dialogue. That’s a fancy way of saying they’ll discuss how China and the UK can work together better!
Next up: Ireland! 🇮🇪 In Ireland, Wang Yi will meet Simon Harris, the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade. They’ll talk about friendship between China and Ireland.
Then: Germany! 🇩🇪 Wang Yi will attend the 61st Munich Security Conference from February 12 to 17. This is a big meeting where leaders from around the world talk about making the world a safer place. Wang Yi will share China’s ideas on major world issues.
After that: The United States! 🇺🇸 As China is the rotating President of the UN Security Council in February, Wang Yi will chair a high-level event in New York on February 18. The theme is “Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance.” That’s all about countries working together to make the world better!
Finally: South Africa! 🇿🇦 Wang Yi will attend the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Johannesburg from February 20 to 21. The G20 is a group of 20 important countries that discuss global issues like the economy and the environment.
Isn’t it exciting how countries work together? 🌐 Maybe one day, you could be a leader who helps make the world a better place too!
