Hey there! Have you ever heard of a landslide? It’s when rocks and earth suddenly slide down a hill or mountain. Well, on Saturday, a big landslide happened in a place called Sichuan Province in southwest China. 😮
China’s Vice Premier, Liu Guozhong, rushed straight to the site to help with the rescue efforts! Imagine someone really important coming to help out. He told everyone to do their very best to find and save the people who are missing. He also wanted to make sure everyone stays safe and prevent any more disasters. 🚑👷♀️
The landslide happened at 11:50 a.m. in a village called Jinping in Junlian County. Rescue teams have been working super hard to find the 28 people who are missing. They’re using special equipment to search through the rocks and earth. 🏔️🔍
Vice Premier Liu met with the rescue teams to see how things were going. He also visited people who were hurt and are now getting help at a local hospital. He wants to make sure everyone gets the care they need. ❤️
