Mainland slams Taiwan's DPP for obstructing cross-Straits tourism

Chinese Mainland Criticizes Taiwan’s DPP for Blocking Tourism

Hey there! 😊 Have you ever wanted to visit Taiwan? Well, the Chinese mainland wants its people to be able to visit, but there’s a bit of a problem.

Recently, the Chinese mainland said that Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is making it hard for tourists to travel between the two places. The mainland’s spokesperson, Zhu Fenglian, shared that tourism companies from Fujian Province and Shanghai applied to visit Taiwan. This was after the mainland announced that group tours to Taiwan would start again in January.

But Taiwan’s authorities said these tours need to be discussed by certain organizations first. The mainland thinks this is just an excuse to delay things. Zhu Fenglian believes that the DPP is ignoring what people want and is blocking tourists from visiting Taiwan.

The mainland is trying hard to restart tourism. Many people in Taiwan’s tourism industry and the public are excited about it! 🎉 But the DPP’s actions are making things difficult.

Zhu Fenglian warned that if the DPP keeps stopping people from traveling and sharing, they might lose support from the public. She hopes things will change so everyone can visit and enjoy both places! 🌏✈️
