President Xi and ROK Speaker Woo Meet in Harbin 🎉
Hey there! Did you know that two important leaders met up recently? 🇨🇳 China’s President Xi Jinping and 🇰🇷 the Republic of Korea’s (that’s South Korea) National Assembly Speaker, Woo Won-shik, had a special meeting in Harbin, a city in northeast China. 🌟
Why did they meet? Well, Woo Won-shik was in Harbin to attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games! ⛷️🏂 It’s a big sports event where athletes from all over Asia compete in winter sports. How cool is that?
During their meeting, President Xi said that China and the ROK have been good friends for over 30 years. 🤝 Their relationship has been growing stronger and has helped bring peace and development to the region. 🌏
They talked about working together even more. That means sharing ideas, trading goods, and helping each other out! 🛍️✈️ President Xi said it’s important for both countries to support each other, especially since they will be hosting big events like the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting this year and next year. 🏛️
