Hey there! Did you know that China and Cambodia are super close friends? The Chinese Foreign Ministry recently shared how strong their friendship is and how they won’t let anyone spread rumors about it.
Some online posts tried to say that Cambodian leaders are choosing sides between China and the United States, and that big projects between China and Cambodia are slowing down. But China’s spokesperson, Guo Jiakun, said that’s not true at all!
He explained that China and Cambodia have been friends for a very long time, always supporting each other. In fact, China has been Cambodia’s biggest trading partner for years! That means they buy and sell lots of things from each other.
Together, they’re working on exciting projects like the “Industrial Development Corridor” and the “Fish and Rice Corridor” to help both countries grow and make life better for their people.
Guo Jiakun said they won’t let any rumors break their strong bond, and anyone who tries to spread false stories will have to face the consequences.
