Gu Ailing shared on social media that she had a “severe contusion” (that’s a bad bruise) after she fell during an event at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado last month. Ouch! She tried to get better in time for the Asian Winter Games, but she got hurt again while training. So, she had to make the tough decision to withdraw from the competition.

She said, “I’m really sad that I can’t be there, but I wish all the other athletes the best of luck! I’ll be working hard to recover and get back on the slopes as soon as possible!” 🌟
