Imagine zipping around an ice rink at lightning speeds! A total of 20 amazing athletes competed, divided into 10 groups. Ning skated in the very last group alongside Jordan Stolz from the United States. Talk about a thrilling matchup!

Jordan Stolz, who’s just 20 years old, set a new track record with a blazing time of 1 minute and 41.22 seconds. That’s super fast! Ning was hot on his heels, finishing just 1.02 seconds behind to claim the silver medal. So close! 🏃‍♂️💨

The bronze medal went to Peder Kongshaug from Norway, who finished only 0.01 seconds after Ning. Can you believe how tiny those differences are? It’s like the blink of an eye! 👀

But that’s not all for Team China! In the women’s 1,000-meter race, Han Mei skated her way to a bronze medal with a speedy time of 1 minute and 13.58 seconds. Way to go, Han Mei! 🌟 The gold medal was won by Miho Takagi from Japan, and silver went to Jutta Leerdam from the Netherlands.

The excitement doesn’t stop here. The next World Cup event will be happening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from January 31 to February 2. Who else is eager to see more thrilling races? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
