China expels Philippine vessels for entering waters near Tiexian Jiao

China’s Coast Guard Turns Away Philippine Ships Near Disputed Reef ๐ŸŒŠ

Hey there! Have you ever heard about countries having disagreements over places in the ocean? ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŒŠ Well, recently, something like that happened between China and the Philippines.

On Friday, two ships from the Philippines tried to go near a reef called Tiexian Jiao, which is part of China’s Nansha Islands (also known as the Spratly Islands). A reef is like a rocky area under the sea where lots of fish and corals live! ๐Ÿ

The China Coast Guard saw these ships and asked them to leave because they said the ships were in Chinese waters without permission. They also said the ships were trying to collect sand samples from the reef, which isn’t allowed.

The ships were warned and then turned back. A spokesperson from the China Coast Guard, named Liu Dejun, said they had to make sure everyone follows the rules in the sea.

Sometimes, countries have different ideas about who owns certain islands or reefs. It’s important for them to talk and find peaceful solutions! ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

What do you think about this? Have you learned about any other places where countries have to share or agree on borders? It’s always interesting to learn how countries interact with each other! ๐ŸŒŽ
