The Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a time of joy and celebration for many people. Recently, a top official from the Chinese mainland, Mr. Song Tao, visited cities close to Taiwan to share festive greetings with Taiwan businesspeople and residents.

Mr. Song met with nearly 400 people from Taiwan in the cities of Shenzhen and Xiamen. He talked about how important it is for everyone on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to work together and stay connected. He emphasized that by cooperating, they can build a peaceful and prosperous future.

Did you know? Last year, many people traveled between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan. Over 920,000 trips were made by Taiwan residents to the mainland province of Fujian alone! That’s like filling thousands of airplanes with happy travelers. โœˆ๏ธ

Mr. Wu Chia-ying, who attended one of the events, said that the support from the mainland gives Taiwan businesses more confidence to invest and grow. This means more exciting opportunities for everyone involved!

Also, many new businesses are starting up. In fact, over 7,900 Taiwan-funded companies were established on the mainland last year. This helps create jobs and brings new ideas to life.

It’s heartwarming to see people coming together during the festive season, sharing traditions, and looking forward to a bright future. Happy Lunar New Year! ๐ŸŽ‰
