When Zhang was 17 years old, he was working as a baker in a hotel restaurant. One day in 2012, he decided to try snowboarding with his high school friends. Little did he know, this would change his life forever!

Back then, the internet wasn’t as big as it is today. Zhang and his friends didn’t have YouTube tutorials or fancy coaches. They watched videos on platforms like Youku and taught themselves tricks by helping each other out. Talk about teamwork! 🤝

Snowboarding isn’t easy. Zhang fell down countless times. He broke his hands and legs, punctured a lung, and even had multiple concussions! 😮 But he never gave up because he loved snowboarding so much. His passion kept him going.

Zhang wanted to compete in the Beijing Winter Olympics. He traveled the world all by himself to try to qualify. Even though he didn’t make it, he realized he had done something most people only dream about.
