Jujube trees have been growing in Shaanxi Province for over 3,000 years. That’s a really long time! 📜 Yang feels a special connection to these ancient trees. Before he starts carving, he looks at the natural shape of the wood and imagines what it could become. It’s like finding hidden pictures in the clouds! ☁️🔍
He creates all sorts of wonderful things, from carvings that look like villagers singing folk songs 🎶 to beautiful combs and hairpins that people can use every day. By blending traditional skills with modern ideas, Yang helps keep the art of jujube wood carving alive and exciting! 🌠
