Zheng Qinwen Kicks Off Australian Open with a Thrilling Win!

Hey tennis fans! 🎾 Guess what? China’s rising star Zheng Qinwen just started her Australian Open journey with a bang! 💥 She won her first match against Romania’s Anca Todoni with a score of 7-6(3), 6-1.

The match took place at the famous Melbourne Park in Australia. It’s Anca Todoni’s first time playing in the main draw of the Australian Open. Can you imagine how excited they both were? 😃

The first set was super close! Both players were serving strong, and the score was tied at 3-3. Zheng had a chance to take the lead in the seventh game, and she did! She broke Todoni’s serve and pulled ahead to 4-3.

But Todoni didn’t give up. She fought hard and managed to tie the set at 5-5 after an epic game that lasted 11 minutes! ⏱️ That’s longer than most songs you listen to!

The first set went into a tiebreak, which is like a mini-game to decide the winner of the set. Zheng played amazingly and won the tiebreak 7-3! 🏆

In the second set, Zheng was on fire! 🔥 She took an early lead and didn’t look back. Even though Todoni tried her best, Zheng won the second set 6-1, sealing her victory in the match.
