Have you ever heard of a monkey with one arm who became an online star? 🌟 Meet Xing Xing (which means “star” in Chinese), a Tibetan macaque living in the beautiful Daliang Mountain in Ninghai County, east China’s Zhejiang Province.
When she was young, Xing Xing was found injured in a tree. She had lost one of her arms and was all alone. But her story didn’t end there! An elderly Buddhist nun and monk discovered her and decided to take care of her. For over 15 years, they’ve been the best of friends. ❤️
Every morning, Xing Xing visits the nun’s door for breakfast. She might munch on some tasty plants or enjoy a juicy orange. 🍊 After spending time with her human friends, she heads back to the mountain as night falls, balancing her wild instincts with her love for her caregivers.
