World No. 1 Shi Yuqi had an exciting match against Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto. After some intense rallies, Shi Yuqi won with scores of 21-16, 20-22, and 21-16! π Isn’t that amazing?
Another Chinese player, Lu Guangzu, faced Malaysia’s own Leong Jun Hao. It was a tough game, but Lu Guangzu came out on top with scores of 21-17, 16-21, and 21-13. Way to go! πͺ
Double the Action in Doubles
In men’s doubles, Chen Boyang and Liu Yi took on Thailand’s Peeratchai Sukphun and Pakkapon Teeraratsakul. It was a nail-biter, but Chen and Liu won with scores of 21-11, 17-21, and 21-18. What a match! π
Meanwhile, mixed doubles pair Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping from China played against Britain’s Gregory Mairs and Jenny Mairs. They secured a solid win with scores of 21-17 and 21-12. Woohoo! π₯³
Women’s Doubles Dominance
The top-seeded women’s doubles team, Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning, had a fantastic game against Denmark’s Julie Finne-Ipsen and Mai Surrow, winning 21-10, 21-10. That’s impressive! π
