Alexandre Muller from France made an incredible comeback to win the title!
He played against Japan’s star player, Kei Nishikori, in the final match on Sunday in Hong Kong.
At first, things didn’t look good for Muller. He lost the first set 6-2. ๐ฎ But he didn’t give up!
With determination and skill, Muller turned the game around. He won the next two sets 6-1 and 6-3! ๐ช
After the match, Muller said, “It’s been an amazing week for me, losing the first set in all the matches. I have no words, I’m sorry, I just won the match, but thank you everyone.“
Kei Nishikori, 35 years old, is a famous tennis player from Japan. This was his first final since 2019!
Even though he didn’t win, it’s great to see him back on the court after dealing with injuries.
