Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival welcomes Year of the Snake in Shanghai

Shanghai’s Yuyuan Garden Shines Bright for the Year of the Snake!

Hey there! Have you ever seen a garden filled with glowing lanterns? 🌟 Well, in Shanghai, there’s a magical place called Yuyuan Garden that’s lighting up the night to welcome the Year of the Snake! 🐍

On January 1, 2025, the annual Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival began, and it’s more spectacular than ever. Imagine walking among giant, smiling snake-shaped lanterns that light up the sky. They’re bright, colorful, and full of joy!

But that’s not all! The festival also has amazing lanterns shaped like animals, forests, and mountains. Many of these designs are inspired by an ancient Chinese book called the “Classic of Mountains and Seas,” which is over 2,000 years old! 📖

This year’s theme is “Everything is beautiful, every life is marvelous.” Isn’t that a wonderful message? It reminds us to appreciate all the amazing things around us.

The festival runs until February 12, 2025, so there’s plenty of time to visit. If you’re in Shanghai or dreaming of traveling there someday, don’t miss this dazzling event! ✨
