On Thursday, China played not one but two matches—and they won them both! First, they beat South Korea with a score of 8-4. Then, they went on to defeat Hong Kong 8-0! That’s six straight wins in the tournament. Way to go, Team China! 🎉
Star Players Shine 🌟
In the match against Hong Kong, Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha teamed up for the mixed doubles. They played against Yiu Kwan To and Ng Wing Lam. Wang and Sun were fantastic together, winning the match 11-4, 11-6, 11-4!
After the game, Wang said, “I was a little nervous before the match. But we played better than I expected!” Sun added, “It’s been a long time since we played together. We did great!”
More Wins for China 🏆
Wang Manyu played in the women’s singles against Doo Hoi Kem. She won the match quickly with scores of 11-8, 11-4, 11-2!
Lin Shidong played in the men’s singles and has been in all six matches for China so far. He defeated Chan Baldwin 11-3, 11-4, sealing China’s victory!
