Hey there! Did you know that media leaders from Europe and China want to share more stories with each other? ππΊ
The 12th Global Video Media Forum just started in Quanzhou, a city in southeast China. At this big event, Adrian Wells, the Managing Director of the European News Exchange, talked about something super important!
He said that sometimes, people in Europe and China don’t fully understand each other. That happens because they don’t get to hear all the news from both sides. π
Mr. Wells believes that the media (that’s TV, newspapers, and online news) should help fix this! π° He thinks it’s important to share all the amazing things happening in China, like how they’re improving electricity and building new roads and bridges. And at the same time, China can learn about Europe’s ideas and perspectives too! ππ
"We need to rise above politics and work together," he said. That means that even if governments have disagreements, people can still connect and understand each other better. π€
Isn’t it cool to think that by sharing stories and news, we can make new friends across the world and learn exciting new things? So next time you read or watch the news, think about all the different places those stories come from! π
