In June, new house prices in these top cities dropped by 1.4% compared to last year. But this drop was smaller than the one in May. That’s a good sign!
Shanghai, which is a super important city in China, actually saw house prices go up by 6%! 🎉 That’s great news for people in Shanghai.
In other cities, called second- and third-tier cities, house prices also dropped, but not as much as before. The government has been working hard to help people buy houses. They introduced over 340 new policies in the first half of this year to make it easier for families to buy or trade homes.
More than 60 cities introduced special offers to help people buy homes or upgrade to better ones. This helps families find the right homes for them!
