Four Countries Meet in Xinjiang for a Big Adventure! π
Guess what? Representatives from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia gathered in Altay City, in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region! They came together for the Greater Altai International Conference for Subregional Cooperation. Sounds exciting, right?
They talked about lots of cool things like trade, culture, sports, tourism, science and technology, and education. Imagine countries working together to make the world a better place! π
Vitaliy Snesar, the vice governor of Russia’s Altai Region, said the Altai area isn’t just a place on the map. It’s special because of its history and culture. By working together, the countries hope to start new projects that help everyone!
Protecting Our Planet π±
They also discussed how to protect the environment. Since the Altai region has beautiful nature but a fragile ecosystem, they want to work together to fight climate change and save the planet! πΌπΏ
Jilel Helel, from Xinjiang’s science and technology department, said they aim to share green technologies and learn from each other. That means they’ll help each other use eco-friendly ways to grow and develop!
Making New Friends π€
The countries plan to have student exchange programs, art exhibitions, and even celebrate each other’s cultures! Imagine making friends with someone from another country and learning about their way of life. How cool is that?
They also want to build better roads and railways to connect their countries, making it easier to visit each other and trade goods.
Why Is the Altai Region Special? ποΈ
The Altai subregion covers a huge area connected by the Altai Mountains. It’s home to over 5 million people! With its amazing natural resources and close-knit communities, there’s so much potential for these countries to cooperate and create a brighter future together.
At the end of the conference, they signed agreements to start working on these awesome plans. Isn’t it great when people come together to make the world a better place?
Who knows, maybe one day you’ll be part of a big international cooperation like this! Dream big! π
