Did you know that people around the world were asked about trading with China and the United States? A big survey talked to over 31,000 people from 41 different countries! That’s a lot of people! 🌍
Guess what they found out? More than half of the people said they feel they get more benefits from trading with China than with the U.S. That’s 51.8% who think trading with China helps them more! 😃
Even in countries like France, Germany, and Australia, many people preferred trading with China over the U.S. For example, in Australia, nearly 46% chose China, while only about 22% picked the U.S.
The survey also showed that many people are worried about U.S. policies. About 63% of people said that U.S. actions are hurting other countries. And 75% think that the “America First” idea is causing problems around the world. 😕
But China is seen by many as a country that is fulfilling its responsibilities. About 36% of people feel that China is doing a good job as a major power.

The survey was done by CGTN along with Renmin University of China. They asked people from countries like the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, and Egypt.
