Poll: Trump's trade unpredictability worries Britons, Americans

Poll: Young Brits and Americans View China as More Reliable Trade Partner

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Have you ever thought about how countries trade with each other? ๐ŸŒ Well, a new poll shows that many young people in the United States and the United Kingdom think that China might be a more reliable trading partner than the US! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

According to the poll, nearly half of the British participants said they believe China is more dependable for trade than the United States. This feeling was especially strong among young people under 34 years old. It’s like when you trust your friend to always trade fairly with you at lunch! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿช

Many Americans and Britons are concerned about President Donald Trump’s unpredictability when it comes to trade deals. In fact, 47% of Americans said that this unpredictability is the biggest barrier to making trade agreements with the UK. That’s almost half! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Even some people who voted for President Trump said they aren’t sure if he would stick to a trade deal. It’s important for countries to trust each other when making agreements, just like we trust our friends to keep promises. ๐Ÿค

Scott Lincicome, an expert at the Cato Institute, mentioned that China seems more reliable these days because they aren’t causing unexpected problems with their trading partners. ๐ŸŒ

This poll was done online with about 2,000 people from the US and the UK. It shows how important trust and reliability are in international trade, especially for future generations like you! ๐ŸŒŸ
