Former Serbian Minister Says US Tariffs Are Unfair to Others

Hey there! Have you ever traded toys or snacks with your friends? Imagine if one friend suddenly said, “You have to give me two of your toys for one of mine!” That doesn’t seem fair, right? 🤔

In the big world of countries, something similar happens with trade. Countries buy and sell things to each other, like gadgets, clothes, and food. Sometimes, a country might add extra fees called tariffs on items from other countries, making them more expensive.

Recently, Ivan Mrkić, who used to be the Foreign Minister of Serbia (that’s like being in charge of a country’s relationships with other countries), shared his thoughts about some tariffs the United States has put in place. He feels these tariffs are unfair and might be tricking other countries. Many nations are unhappy about this because it makes trading harder.

Mrkić thinks that when countries don’t play fair, it can cause problems and make it tougher for everyone to get along. Just like with friends, it’s important for countries to be fair and honest with each other! 🌎❤️

What do you think? Should countries trade fairly? How do you feel when someone isn’t fair with you?
