More than half of Rio Tinto’s money comes from China! 😮 That’s because China needs lots of metals and minerals for all the stuff they’re building and making. Mr. Stausholm was at a big meeting called the China Development Forum 2025 in Beijing. He said that people in China are buying more things, which helps the economy grow. 📈
Also, the property sector (that’s the buying and selling of houses and buildings) in China is doing better than last year. 🏠 This is great news for Rio Tinto because they supply many of the materials needed for construction.
