Hey friends! 😊 Did you know that private businesses in China are doing something super cool? They’re creating lots and lots of new jobs, especially in a vibrant area called the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area!
What’s Happening?
After the Spring Festival (which is like a big Chinese New Year celebration), many people are getting back to work. Private companies are helping by offering tons of new job opportunities!
Big Numbers! 📊
In 2023, there were over 53 million private businesses in China! 😲 That’s a lot! These businesses made over 90% of new jobs in cities. Imagine how many people that helps!
In Guangdong Province, by the end of 2024, there were about 18.4 million private businesses. They are super important because they make more than half of the province’s total products and services (that’s called GDP), over 60% of trade, and more than 80% of new ideas and jobs!
Helping People Find Jobs
A company called Huolala, which helps move things around, is investing 35 million yuan (that’s a lot of money!) to offer 650,000 flexible job opportunities. 🚚🚗 That’s like giving lots of people the chance to work in different ways, like driving or delivering things.
Another city called Dongguan, known as the “world’s factory” 🏭, is also helping lots of people find jobs after the holiday. They organized big events to match people looking for jobs with companies that need workers.
The Greater Bay Area 🌉
This area is becoming a super cool place to work! Many young people from Hong Kong and Macao are coming to the Chinese mainland to find awesome job opportunities.
Private businesses here are helping people from all over find jobs and create new ideas. Isn’t that exciting? 😊
