Guess what? On Monday, President Xi Jinping, the leader of the Chinese mainland, met with some important business people in Beijing! 🌆
He attended a special meeting called a “symposium” on private enterprises. That’s a big word, but it just means a gathering where people talk about important ideas. 💡
President Xi listened to what the private entrepreneurs had to say. These are people who own or run private companies – businesses not owned by the government. They shared their thoughts and ideas about how to make things better.
After listening, President Xi gave an important speech. He talked about how private companies can help the country grow and how they are an important part of the economy. 📈
Other leaders like Li Qiang and Ding Xuexiang were also there. The meeting was led by Wang Huning.
