Have you ever heard of a “slashie”? 🎭 It’s someone who wears many hats at the same time! Meet Tong Iok, a real-life “slashie” from Macao who’s inspiring people with her dual talents.
From 9 am to 6 pm, Tong works in finance. That means she helps manage money and numbers during the day. 📈💼 But when the sun goes down, she transforms into a Hanfu enthusiast and fashion designer! ✨👘 Hanfu is traditional Chinese clothing that looks like it came straight out of a history book.
This year, Tong did something really special. As the chairperson of the Macao Youth International Art and Culture Association, she invited friends from the Greater Bay Area who love old-fashioned crafts. Together, they created beautiful heritage brooches—like fancy pins you can wear! 🎨🌟
These brooches aren’t just pretty; they’re helping to keep China’s traditional handicraft culture alive. By making and sharing these crafts, Tong and her friends are connecting the past with the present. 🕰️❤️
Isn’t it amazing how one person can do so much? Maybe you have hobbies or talents you’d like to share with the world, too! What would you do if you were a “slashie”? 🌟
