Hey friends! Have you ever imagined how much you could buy with a trillion yuan? That’s a 1 followed by 12 zeros! Well, China is investing that massive amount of money to make the country better for everyone.
So, what’s the plan? China is using 1 trillion yuan (which is about 139 billion US dollars) to build big projects like new railways, highways, and airports, especially along the Yangtze River, one of the longest rivers in the world!
Not only that, but they are also improving farmlands in the northeast, so farmers can grow more food. And they are planting lots of trees in the north and northwest to help protect the environment. 🌲🌳
Out of this huge amount, 700 billion yuan is going towards important national strategies and making key areas stronger and safer. The other 300 billion yuan is helping to upgrade equipment and encourage people to trade in old consumer goods for new ones. Imagine getting a new phone or bike by trading in your old one!
The National Development and Reform Commission (that’s like China’s planning team) is making sure all these projects start as soon as possible, and they’re going to keep an eye on them to make sure everything goes well.
And guess what? China plans to keep doing this every year for the next several years! So there will be lots of new and exciting things happening.
