Hey everyone! Have you ever wondered how people from different parts of the world can become friends and learn from each other? 🌍🤝🌎 Well, let’s dive into the exciting world of China and Latin America!
This year, from November 10 to 16, Peru is hosting a super important meeting called the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting. Leaders from many countries are coming together to talk about big ideas! Isn’t that cool? 😎
But guess what? There’s more! In a special episode of THE HYPE, some amazing people shared their stories about China and Latin America. Let’s meet them!
First, we have Beatriz Contrera, a student from Chile studying at Peking University in China. Then there’s Aníbal Feres, a documentary director from the Chilean press agency Pressenza. And finally, Patrick Lin, who used to teach Chinese in Brazil at the Confucius Institute.
They talked about how Chinese culture is seen in Latin America and how the two places are both similar and different. For example, did you know that both China and Latin America have long histories and rich cultures? That’s a lot of awesome history! 📚✨
