What’s Happening?
- From December 1, 2024, people living in Shenzhen can apply for a special pass to visit Hong Kong as many times as they like in a year! Each visit can last up to 7 days.
- From January 1, 2025, people living in Zhuhai can visit Macao once every week, staying up to 7 days each time!
- Also, people in a special area called Hengqin can get passes to visit Macao as many times as they want for up to 7 days each time!
Why is This Cool?
This means families and friends who live close by can see each other more often. Plus, people can explore the fun places in Hong Kong and Macao more easily! 🏰🎡
About the Greater Bay Area
The Greater Bay Area is like a huge neighborhood that includes Hong Kong, Macao, and other big cities in China. It has over 86 million people! That’s a lot of new friends! 🤗
This area is super important because it’s great for new ideas, business, and connecting with the world! Last year, the money made there was as much as the country of Canada!
