On Saturday evening, in a place called Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip, there was a big explosion. Many people were hurt, and it’s a very sad time for everyone there.
Ahmed, a man who lives in Beit Lahia, saw what happened. He told us that when the explosion happened, many buildings fell down. His friends and neighbors were trapped under the broken buildings.
The people who came to help didn’t have the right tools. Ahmed said their rescue equipment was old and couldn’t do much. He felt worried because he wanted everyone to be saved.
Because of the explosions, Ahmed had to leave his home. He hopes that his friends and neighbors can be rescued soon.
