PLA expels Philippine aircraft from China's Nansha Qundao airspace

China’s Military Warns Philippine Planes Near Nansha Qundao 🌊✈️

Hey there! Did you hear about what happened in the South China Sea recently? 🌊✈️ Let’s dive in!

China’s military asked some planes from the Philippines to leave the airspace near a place called Nansha Qundao. That’s a group of islands in the South China Sea that are important to many countries.

On Thursday, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (that’s China’s military, also called the PLA) saw two C-208 airplanes and one N-22 airplane from the Philippines flying near Nansha Qundao. The Chinese military told them to leave.

China says that these planes were in their airspace without permission. They also mentioned that they are concerned about some actions by the Philippines.

Earlier, on February 18, a Philippine plane flew over another place called Huangyan Dao. It flew in a way that was unsafe, coming down quickly and getting close to a Chinese helicopter. China called this dangerous and unprofessional.

Both China and the Philippines care a lot about the South China Sea. Sometimes, they disagree about who should control certain areas. It’s important for everyone to stay safe and work together to keep peace! 😊

China says they will keep watching to make sure everything stays peaceful in the area.
