China’s Giant Seaplanes Ace Important Tests! 🛩️🌊
Hey there! Have you heard about China’s amazing new airplanes that can fly in the sky and land on water? 😮 They’re called the AG600M “Kunlong,” which means “Water Dragon” in Chinese!
Recently, three of these giant amphibious planes (that’s a fancy word for vehicles that can go on land and water) passed some super important tests! These tests help make sure the planes are safe and ready to help people.
Over 500 people worked together at a special flight center in Pucheng, in northwest China. The planes had to prove they could handle tough situations, like if something went wrong with the controls, or if they flew in icy conditions. They also tested new computer systems on the planes.
All three planes did an awesome job! They flew, landed safely, and showed everyone they’re strong and reliable. This means they’re one step closer to getting the official thumbs-up to start real missions.
But what will these planes do? The AG600M planes are like superheroes of the sky and sea! 🦸♂️ They can carry up to 12 tonnes of water (that’s about the weight of 8 cars!) and fly really far. They’ll help put out big wildfires by scooping up water and dropping it on flames. They can also rescue people who are lost at sea.
Isn’t that cool? These planes started their journey in 2022, when they first took off from land and then from water. Now, after passing these big tests, they’re closer than ever to helping in real-life emergencies!
